Run Ubooquity in background on start mac

MVJr 6 years ago updated by Tom 6 years ago 4

Is it possible to run ubooquity on startup? Perhaps a deamon? I just don't want to have to manually start the server and keep my terminal open every time I want to use it.

Thanks!

not sure about mac, but on windows you can simply set it up in the autostart. think this could be an equivalent for macs. then in the admin-console set 'minimize at startup', if available on macs:

at system-startup it runs in the background and shows only the icon in the info-tray. at least on windows-systems:

refer also to this (for windows).

Thank so much! Can't believe it was this easy.

you're welcome.
