It looks like on the 15th Ubooquity was performing a scan, then restarted, and choked and died. Since manually starting it back up yesterday, there haven't been any errors.
I keep Ubooquity running on my main server with Win-7 x64, and my media stored on a Netgear ReadyNAS 104. I check the logs on the NAS and it's been running smoothly for several weeks now with out any errors or down time. I don't believe I've ever received this error before, and I've been happily running Ubooquity for several months now.
Any idea what happened?
This error (Database may be already in use: "Locked by another process")
means that the database file is still seen as locked by Ubooquity. This
lock mechanism prevents concurrent modification of this file.
So either you had another instance of Ubooquity still running, or the
locking mechanism used by the H2 database library (it creates a
temporary file named "ubooquity-4.lock.db" to check if the database is
in use or not) has been tricked one way or another.
In any case this is nothing serious. Just check that Ubooquity is
stopped before starting it again and everything should be fine.
Hello, it seems that i have nearly the same problem with a Debian server.
After Database scan Ubooquity stops the access to the web page.
A reboot dosn´t help, i´ll have to remove the Database and than Ubooquity starts to scan. Meanwhile i have full access to the webpage and configuration page.
If the scan is finished, nothing works anymore.
With the status of Ubootquity is working, maybe a java problem?
How about the rights of the database? I gave the Folder to a default user and the database to 755.
I´m not the Linux specialist, just try and work with any manual i can get and hope it works :-)
Maybe someone could help?
Thx Kaily
