Hi,

That's actually the way I managed my collection. I have a hierarchical directory representation, with a directory for management books, another for software technical books and so on... with sub-directories for specific topics.

I thought that, as you specify the type of folder (comics or books) when you create it, the change would not be so hard, but I didn't have a look to the source code and I will not hand your opinion on the subject in question. ;-)

I'm glad to read that work is on track for points 2 and 3.

Hi,

The version installed on my server is the 1.7.6. Maybe it has changed on more recent versions, but when I logg in, this the first screen I can see :

I think that the "Comics" and "Books" folders are not necessary, and that it could be better to see directly their sub-folders. "Last comics" and "Last books" are interesting, cause they provide a different way to navigate through the contents, but "Comics" and "Books" add nothing, in my opinion. I can understand that the two type of folder are probably not managed the same way, but the user is not concerned by that.

For the points 2 and 3, this is less about user management than user experience. "Next to read" would provide a different way to navigate, as "Last comics" and "Last books" does. And if you have a large collection, it could be nice that the user interface give you the information about the ones you already read, and those you didn't.
