Yeah, I've had other people ask about that as well.

In the meantime, I uploaded the file here:

So you can simply wget that url instead, though I think the Java path is different in the original one (I had to change it for my Synology model)

Ok, you're correct, the jar file didn't need to be executable but the other steps were required.

Again, I'm not sure if the changes were only required for my NAS model or if it works for others as well. Maybe Tom can add links to working instructions for various models?

Matt, I'll double check on the jar file, it may not be necessary, I was troubleshooting multiple things and that was just one in the list.

As for updating your instructions, if it's helpful for others, feel free to use it.

Hi Matthew,

I ran into some issues with your instructions for my Synology DS413, here's a blog post with the changes I had to make: http://www.chrisanthropic.com/blog/2016/ubooquity-comics-server-on-synology-nas/

I'm not sure if others have the same issues or if it's a NAS version thing (which is quite common it seems).
Mostly things like the Java path, making the Ubooquity.jar executable, logging in to the web interface to create a user, etc.

I obviously started with your instructions which were very helpful, thanks!
