Hi,

Could Ubookquity distribution be installed in Tomcat (.war instead of .jar).

No, not without a lot of work to remove the internal HTTP server, remove the internal database (and have Ubooquity use a datasource provided by Tomcat), remove the GUI, add a lot of configuration, etc.

It would be another project in itself and with an even more limited audience as installing and running Tomcat servers is not something everybody can do.
