My own follow-up would be, is this there a way I can set the admin password in preference.json?

Also, maybe something about my container on freenas is mixed up, as I can't run java --version. 

Quick question on this. If a file is removed/moved does it delete all metadata/thumbnail or cache it for later use. On one hand, I can see it not being deleted  being useful of a file is moved and then moved back  (or if it can link the other version somehow), but on the other hand I can see the cache of the files growing quite large.

I rezipped the files (changing them from cbr to cbz) and they worked, but I would like to know why the files cause ubooquity to freeze up, so I've emailed them to Tom. Thanks!

I too am having this issue.

Since you are currently working on ubooquity 2.0 (which you have stated might not be out for a while), is there any chance you could issue an ubooquity 1.10.2 build with this fixed, or possibly explain a way to fix this issue ourselves? eg: is there a way to add the compiled class to the jar? (I'm not a java programmer, sorry).
