Issue connecting to comics/books quick link
Thanks for the great work, I love the look. I'm having an issue right now and I'm not sure how to fix it. I can access my latest comics, books, and raw files. But when I try to click the browse tab or the comics and books quick links, I get taken back to my synology nas home page. It looks like its using the right address, but trying to connect through port 5000 while I have reverse proxy in use. Is there a work around? Thank you.

Deactivate thumbnails
Hi,
Is there a way to deactivate thumbnail generation?
My goal is to fasten database update on small server.
Thanks

Some CBR files not working on app or web
I have some comics in CBR format that I made last year by using WinRAR and then changing the extension and they all work fine but the ones I've made in the past couple days won't work. The only thing I've noticed about them is the CBR's I made last year the text shows up blue and the new ones I make the files are black. No idea why that's the case or why that would matter. Any ideas for why these aren't working?

RAR is a proprietary format for which very few decompression library exist.
The library used by Ubooquity (the only existing in Java) has issues with some RAR file, and can't open RAR 5 files at all.
For comics there is no reason whatsoever to prefer RAR to Zip (cbz) anyway.

Moving Ubooquity From Windows to Docker
My previous installation of Ubooquity was on Windows, with my Comics folder on my Synology NAS mapped as a letter drive (R) so that Ubooquity could see it.
I have now moved to Docker in Unraid. In order to preserve my old database I need to map the old comics path inside of the container to the new path outside of the container:
Container Path: R:\\Comics Host Path: /mnt/user/Comics/
Docker really doesn't like this and refuses to take it. Anyone have any idears??

i am not that good with computers, do i havt run the .jar file everutime i use ubooquity
i run the .jar file every time i use ubooquity and always starts from the default config, how do i run ubooquity

Book name does not match file name or metadata
I use Calibre to import/edit/manage ebooks. I have a few series and I usually add the series number and name to the title but when displayed in Ubooquity just the short title is displayed. I have opened the .opf file and can see the title is set to "Series # - Book Title" (as it is in Calibre) yet when in Ubooquity, I only see "Book Title"

LIbrary on a networkshare
Hello guys,
In the past i used Ubuntu on my own made NAS and on it, i had also my RAID6 running with the whole library of ebooks and comics. Right now i have made my NAS in to Proxmox (Virtual Environment). One virtual environment is a Ebook server (LXC-Linux Container). However as the LXC is just made for Ubooquity to run, i want to use the samba share as the library that is shared on the host. (Proxmox runs on debian and debian being the host). How do i point in Ubooquity towards a share on the network?

Ubooquity Will Not Start
Hello!
I'm new to Ubooquity, and self hosting in general, and I seem to be having an issue with installing it.
I've followed the 5 minute installation guide, but once the files and folders have all been generated, no desktop interface pops up, and nothing appears in the system tray.
I'll double click the Ubooquity.jar file again, get a few seconds of the loading circle animation on the cursor, and then nothing.
I've tried looking at the log file to see what the issue could be, but I can't parse any of the data in it.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Here's my log file:

Is it possible to Remote /ubooquity from synology docker?
Hallo all
I recently startede playing around with docker and reverse proxy on my Synology NAS.
I found Ubooquity and I’m loving it so far :)
I do have a question though…is it possible somehow to remove /ubooquity from the URL ?
Currently to login I’m using reverse proxy so it goes to https://comics.my domain/ubooquity
I would like it to just open the main page on https://comics.my domain/
Is this in anyway possible? :)
I hope I have explained my question well enough.
Thank you all in advance
/Thrawn
