Hi both,

In addition, it means that Ubooquity should let the admin the option to consider comics modification (as per scan detection) as deserving a notification to users, or not.

In my case it often happens that I add new downloaded comics to the db.

Then, later (!) I add scrap info and rescan.

=> 1st "addition" would deserve a notif. Not 2nd one...

Cheers

Thanks for the swift feedback Tom (hope you're better by the way).

I just took the time to configure https, so hopefully this well help, thanks for the hint.

Hi,

I'm observing the thumbnails issue as well. On iOS (iPhone & iPad) but also on OS X, with safari (OK with firefox & opera). It is also visible in apps with embeded browser.

The "random" thumbnails somehow kind of disappeared, but the need to reload the page (sometimes several times) to get all thumbnails really remains & is a pain...

Correct, I remember this statement now... I missed to see you were looking for iPhone only.
Fortunately the developer of Chunky is part of the Ubooquity community and this forum.
He may advise if he changed his plans...
Hi,

I'm using "Chunky" on my iPad. It's perfect for me to connect to Ubooquity. The developper is also part of the ubooquity community (if I remember well some posts).
It embeds a web emulator, which allows you to connect to the web interface of ubooquity.
It also owns a download manager, to follow the download progress of the comic you selected for download.

It fits my needs.
Let me know about yours.

Cheers
Hi Jim,

Thanks a lot for sharing your notes!!
I lost the HDD of my debian and had to all re-install from scratch.
Your script prevented me to rewrite it.
I just had to change the directory and it worked like a charm :-)

@Tom: it should be aded to the help page (except if I missed it, it is not)

Cheers,
Mat
Tom,

Maybe good to precise the cli commands for specifying settings file location (& logs as well if applicable)

Hi !

I had the same issue (on debian stable).
I had to move the file embedding the parameters (If you go to the admin page I guess you lost all your parameters...)

Restart afterwards and you should recover everything.

Tom, could you please precise your meaning?

I have too my media on a NAS (with its own hard drives) and ubooquity on my server (with limited OS space).
The thumbnail are generated (& stored) and my server, reducing the available space for the system.
I would be happy if I could have the option to have the thumbnail generated (& stored) on my NAS instead.
You have a mean in minds?

Cheers
