Old thread but the way I tackled this. Get your jpg for the magazine group you want. Convert this to pdf, I use an online pdf converter takes seconds. Then save as _Folder.pdf <-- the underscore should in most cases ensure it's the first image selected

playing about with the theme 

Had a bit of a play around. Now have all comics uniform in size. changed the structure to add character BIO inside publisher before the actual issues. Minor tweaks to colours and my own LOGO (half shown)

I've made a few simple changes to the style. Added my own header, made all the comics uniform in size, minimal twists on the colours. I think it now looks really neat and tidy. I've truncated my actual title to avoid unwanted guests :)

have you got a series.json file in each of the series directories and a folder.jpg?

Another Question

Is there anyway to save metadata without altering the cbr/cbz file. Where I get them from, it is demanded that they not be altered in any way
