Adding a comment here, I had the same issue on Chrome for Windows and clearing my browser cache corrected it!

Are there currently any other options other than "[[FOLDER]]"? What I'm looking to do it if I don't have a header image to make it just say the name of the current folder's name. I.E. my Star Wars folder says "Star Wars"... Because what I'd like to do is create a generic enough one that it can be used for every folder rather than having a custom one in every folder.

I really like this theme, thank you very much for creating it!

Him adding the read/unread is already a planned feature - http://ubooquity.userecho.com/topic/623670-write-read-states-to-metadata-files-comic-and-books-alike/

Makes sense to also be able to manually set it.

I can't speak to 100% like Tom can. But Ubooquity currently doesn't store a read/unread status on the comics, so I'm guessing you mean in Challenger Viewer? Perhaps asking their support may be more useful, since it is probably stored in the app rather than in ubooquity.

To be honest, I'd love some way to customize sorting. Long term, I'd like to be able to create my own sorting/filtering criteria
That's definitely it. I changed my paths so that they don't use any symlinks and like magic security just works. So, must be that it's not reading through the symlink properly... glad that you pointed this out John!
I'm sure you'll get basically this answer from Tom... but it does preload the next page. That said, depending on how quickly you read the page, you may be requesting the next page before the preload is complete... IMO, the preloading seems slow, I believe it's doing more than just downloading the image file.

I personally would like the option to preload a configurable amount. Say, cache server side 5 pages around the current page (both previous and next pages) and then have javascript preload the next page or 2 into the client side.
This theme has become my main one, love it.
I can confirm this as well... Only occurs on the first folder after bypassing the root folder... I had to set my page size to 5, since my root folder just contains 6 other folders. Inside those folders, it works correctly but inside the root folder, the page doesn't change.
